If you use CAD (Computer Aided Design) programs, showing others your designs or drawings can be a pain if they don't have the AutoCAD application.
DWG to PDF Converter takes CAD files, in DWG format, and converts them quickly and accurately into PDF files that anyone can view. This simple application just asks you to add DWG files, then choose output quality and page size, in case you want to print your PDF out and the orientation of your CAD image.
It is also possible to change the color of lines in your DWG drawing. There is a table for output colors, allowing all the pen colors used in AutoCAD to be changed for the PDF. This can make CAD drawings more presentable. Watermarks can be added to personalize the PDF if you wish.
There is little wrong with DWG to PDF Converter. It does exactly what it says, and has enough flexibility to please most users. The trial version does leave a big red watermark in the center of PDF files, but you can still see how good the results will be.
DWG to PDF Converter is a very narrow application, but it fulfills its niche service very well. If you want to share CAD creations easily, PDF is a great format to choose.
Easy to use
Good range of options
Very limited function!
"Good to test functionality, but no usable PDF output due to watermark."
I don't mind watermarks on trial software, but when its SO BIG and SO RED right in the middle of the diagram, I lose all interest in the program and look for another one.
